Although it appears the website and CDN can convert jpeg and png images we upload through the CMS to webp file format, if we can enable the direct upload of webp files as an accepted file format within the cms i think there could be direct benefit to image quality control
Webp files are all over the web now, and a constant file we have to deal with. They are also very small. The ability to download from a manufacturer's site and upload directly to CMS would save so much time.
