The customer basket intercept function comes in handy, but from previous experience being able to log in as a customer is more beneficial. We constantly have customers who add items to their baskets who want us to push the order through for them. With the basket intercept, we cannot do this
If you ask support to add the "Saved Orders" function to your website, you can get the customer to save the order, then you are able to select the customers account as an agent and process it from the saved orders tab.
