At the moment when customers click on the notify when back in stock, there is no email alert to our sales team to let them know their customer is querying an item that is out of stock. It would be important as the sales team can call their customer immediately to let them know when it is in or supply an alternative product, otherwise it can be a potential lost sale. It would be great to add the possibility of adding an email to this feature that already exists. There is a backend report that you can pull to see who has emailed but that would require someone constantly checking the backend throughout the day, when it would be easier to get an email notification about a customer querying out of stock items.
We already have a Blind Copy Feature for this which is going to the 'Owner Email Address. We can divert this to the 'StockNotifyBccAddress'. Please contact support and give them the address you wish to use
